It's time to wrap it up! Here is a recap of some of the most important milestones of our first year. Yes, we are barely 1 year old as a company, and some might even say we are one of the fastest-growing Web3 companies ever.

With our groundbreaking approach to digital identity and online transactions, Freename domains have redefined the way you can send and receive payments (bye-bye, 'long crypto wallets'), earn royalties (hello 'passive income'), communicate via email, and build websites – all without any renewal fees.

From the get-go, we made a strategic decision to flourish as a multichain entity, ensuring our adaptability and resilience in the ever-evolving blockchain ecosystem.

Another key aspect of our strategy involved active participation in industry events. Our team traveled extensively, from Dubai to Las Vegas, attending numerous significant expos, events and gatherings. Notably, the ICANN 78th meeting stood out as a crucial event, demonstrating our dedication to being a leading voice in discussions and developments surrounding the domain name system.

While excelling in Web3 domains remains a top priority for us, it's not our sole focus. We're equally committed to addressing the needs of Web2, ensuring a comprehensive approach that caters to both Web2 and Web3 requirements. The launch of WebUnited, our joint venture with ShortDot, marks a significant step forward towards this goal. WebUnited is at the forefront of merging Web2 and Web3, offering a suite of services that seamlessly bridge the gap between traditional and blockchain-based domains.

We want to take a moment to thank our Venture Capital firms and Angel Investors for believing in our vision. Thanks to their support, we've successfully raised $2.5 million in a seed round, propelling us towards even greater heights.

As 2023 comes to a close, we're on the brink of a significant milestone: the issuance of more than 10,000 TLDs. This achievement far exceeds the approximately 1,500 TLDs managed by ICANN, highlighting our swift growth and the broad acceptance of our innovative domain solutions in the market.

As we step into another year, our resolve only grows stronger. We're committed to making Web3 domains accessible to all, democratizing the web for every user. With our eyes set on continuous innovation and customer-centric solutions, Freename is ready to soar even higher.
